Sorry ... been a while

Ok, sorry it has been almost 2 months since I posted last - I had been feeling like total CRAP and the last few weeks have been wonderful to feel human again. Yesterday was Addison's 1st birthday party (she was so cute & seemed to have fun) Erin did a great job!!
Today we are just watching some football ... so ready for the Cowboys to play tonight ... the Colts/Patriots game should be good, too, starts in about 20 minutes ... guess I should go to the sore now before it starts. We have our next appt this Friday the 9th and then we should also be able to schedule our visit for an ultrasound w/ the high risk doctor to find out the sexes, so ready for that day!!!
I am really unsure what to think we are having, idealy 1 of each, but Russ thinks and wishes for 2 boys, wow!!!
Not too much else going on ... just lots of work and life ... ready to know the sexes though so I can get starte on the nursery and shopping ... woohoo, get ready girls!!!!

Back from Beyond

Ok, I know it has been WAY to long since I last posted, but things have for sure been busy! First off, my new job is GREAT, I am loving it and the people are really nice & funny, there is not a dull moment throughout the day. Christmas was wonderful, it was at our house the Saturday before and consisted of me, Russ, Mom, Dad, Erin, Ryan, Gage, and Addison (oh yeah, Killian, too)!

We had so much fun and it was really nice to be able to have Addison there. She, by the way is up to at least 6lbs, looking as adorable and beautiful as ever and did so good. Russ still has not held her, but he will when she gets a little bigger - he is so cute when he talks to here though and he will just sit and look at her, melts my heart!!!

We had Christmas on Christmas day with Russ' family and had a great time with them, as always. Mama & Max were there, Uncle Mike, Robyn, Jarod, Mom, & Dad - the whole crew. We had a lot of laughs, watched the awful Cowboy game and ate way too much food and Kelly had a whole bottle of wine herself (now, it was over about a 6hr time period, but still).

New Years was a good time, too, we had a little "get together" at the house the Friday before and it was a blast ... had too many jello shots and vodka/hawaiian punch (thanks Wendy!!) and played pool, lots of laughs, too! Then for the real NYE, we went to some friends house and I brought the remaining jello shots (they were a hit) and had a few SMURFS, too, and got way drunk ... but not sick drunk, which I was very greatful for. We had our NYE kiss and it was wonderful, hehe, and got to see Ethan dancing around drunk off of mini herseys bars - that kid is a riot and so darn cute! We also played Texas Hold Em' for money that night & it was my 1st time to ever play with money; I had just learned how to play the game period at my in-laws on Christmas day, and I was the 4th to last out. Russ went out right before me and if I had stayed in one more hand, I would have ended up in 3rd place and won my $20 back, oh well, next time!

Russ finally got his promotion at work and is officially, "Director of Building Services" and he has been working for that title; I don't think the man has been home before 630-700 for 2 weeks. He is loving it and knows it is a huge responsibility, but I know he can do it. I am so proud of you baby!!!!!!

Nothing else really going on, we have been so busy with little things here & there, I can't believe it is already the middle of January!! I am sad to say that we are NOT going sking with Ang & Kev next month - ANG ... I AM SORRY, please forgive me!! :( ((Funny thought = Russ sking)) hehe ... sorry babe, but you know it is a funny thought!! I am hoping that we can plan a cruise this Spring or early Summer, for our 5 year anniversay in April. He will be golfing with my Dad in April, in California so we have to plan our trip after that one - which I am okay with, he has been wanting to go on this trip for a few years & this year he can actually go & I know he will have a blast.

Guess that is all for now, I will try to do a better job of keeping everyone updated, sorry Leslie, and congrats on the GIRL, and I love the name!!!!! Hope to see you at your shower, I need to call LaTrina back, speaking of ... opps. Okay guys, I am going to change my work clothes now and get dinner ready, hopefully, Russ will be home by 7. Hope you all had a great weekend and did not have to get out in the nasty weather yesterday (I did not go) and that you all have a great week! :)

Playing Catch Up ...

Well, it's Sunday afternoon and I am "almost" ready for my new job tomorrow. I am mostly excited but a little nervous. I will be at a new company, new boss (well, she was my old boss), new people, and new job responsibilities, WOW! I will be in a new hire orientation tomorrow all morning and then have lunch and then go to my new desk & area. I am glad that I will know at least 1 person in that area, my new boss, Wendy - she was my old boss at EMC, so I feel good about that, but the thought of having to make new friends there and hope that we get along, still hate that part of a new place.

I will miss my friends at EMC, but hopefully we still keep in touch - LOVE YOU GUYS!! There was great news yesterday, that my niece, Addison, got to come home finally!!!! I have talked to Erin & Ryan, and she seems to be doing well. I know they will have some rough moments, with lack of sleep and all; but they will get the hang of it & do great! I am so excited to have her be here with us all next Saturday, for our Christmas get together ... can't wait to see her & hold her again!!!!

Went to Addyson's (Ang's little girl) 1st birthday party on Saturday and she was just so cute. She was getting sleepy and her big brother, Ethan, was not feeling well - but - I still managed to sneak a kiss on the cheek to him & he gave me a smile, all is well. Russ & I got ALL of our shopping done for Christmas Friday night & yesterday afternoon, AND ... they are all wrapped, too!!!! I finally just put the tree up ( I know ... I was just so un-motivated this week) and now all that has to be done is the lights & ornaments, geesh ... I am pretty much done for today though!!!!

Went to Kohl's, groccery shopping, cleaned the house, and need to make dinner in a few hours, I am pooped!!!! We made a deal though, Russ would cleam our shower for me (i HATE THAT!!!) and I would chill with him the rest of the day; sounds like a plan!! He is napping now, so I thought I would do a quick post ... Killian is napping, too, wish I were, haha.

Guess there is not really anything else much going on with us ... ready for the holiday's to be over I think though; they can get stressful at times. We are doing the Peevy family Christamas on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, looking forward to seeing all of them, too, I know it will be fun! :)

Crazy Cookie Day

Here are a few pics of us at the annual Cookie Day Keller style ... we get together (Mom's neighbors, Mom, Erin, & I) and make & decorate cookies while drinking suicide tea (thanks Kim!) and it is a day full of lots of laughs and smiles ... thanks again ladies, it was a blast!!!

Beautiful Family

This is the newest famliy picture we have added to our collection ... The Overton's - Ryan, Erin, & Addison @ 4 weeks. She is the most precious thing I have seen and you can just see the love, sweetness, and determination in her eyes. I actually got to hold little angel on Sunday for almost an hour. The nurse asked me if I wanted to hold her and I was like, "uh, duh, of course I do"! I had a very sombering moment when she put her in my arms and she just laid there & looked up at Aunt Kelly - she is just perfect. We are all getting more hopeful that she gets to come home by Christmas, I know that would be the perfect gift for everyone, especially Mom & Dad. GO ADDISON, GO ADDISON, we love you sweetheart!!!! :)

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a good Thanksgiving and a safe one, too, hopefully we all get TOO full tomorrow and are miserable, but it will mean that we were all blessed enough to have the food to be able to do that and a place and people around to share it with!
Here are a few things I am thankful for this year:

Myself - for learning to not hold grudges anymore , for learning to forgive, and for family
Russ - for sticking some tough times out with me, making some good choices, and loving me
Addison - for being here & part of our lives and being such a strong person already
Erin - for how strong she has become, how brave she has been, and being such a good Mom already
Ryan - for always being there for Erin and really taking care of her when we are not able; for being a brother I can give a hard time to and feel safe that you will take care of my lil sis and your family
Mom - for being Mom really; she is an awesome, wonderful, amazing person and I am proud to call her my Mother as well as my Friend
Dad - for being such a great Dad as well as friend; you show much love, care, and concern for your family & I am proud to be your daughter
Mom Peevy - for always welcoming me in as if I were her own daugher, you are a great Mother in law
Dad Peevy - for always making me laugh - you are truly a sweet man and a great Father in law
Robyn - for always keeping me updated w/ the latest gossip and being a great Sister in law
Jarod - for keeping Russ on his toes when we are all together & always talking that sports crap with him, hehe, just kidding - I am glad you are my Brother in law and that we have also become friends
Friends - I really am thankfull for all of my friends this year, we have had some ups & downs, but you all know I do appreciate the relationships that we have and can only hope that they continue to get better with each year

This past year there have been some rough times and there have been some good times; I know there will always be rough patches and that to truly appreciate the good times, there have to be some bumps in the road. I hope that this next year is full of more good times than bad, we all remain healthy, and able to do the things we love.
