Beautiful Family

This is the newest famliy picture we have added to our collection ... The Overton's - Ryan, Erin, & Addison @ 4 weeks. She is the most precious thing I have seen and you can just see the love, sweetness, and determination in her eyes. I actually got to hold little angel on Sunday for almost an hour. The nurse asked me if I wanted to hold her and I was like, "uh, duh, of course I do"! I had a very sombering moment when she put her in my arms and she just laid there & looked up at Aunt Kelly - she is just perfect. We are all getting more hopeful that she gets to come home by Christmas, I know that would be the perfect gift for everyone, especially Mom & Dad. GO ADDISON, GO ADDISON, we love you sweetheart!!!! :)

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a good Thanksgiving and a safe one, too, hopefully we all get TOO full tomorrow and are miserable, but it will mean that we were all blessed enough to have the food to be able to do that and a place and people around to share it with!
Here are a few things I am thankful for this year:

Myself - for learning to not hold grudges anymore , for learning to forgive, and for family
Russ - for sticking some tough times out with me, making some good choices, and loving me
Addison - for being here & part of our lives and being such a strong person already
Erin - for how strong she has become, how brave she has been, and being such a good Mom already
Ryan - for always being there for Erin and really taking care of her when we are not able; for being a brother I can give a hard time to and feel safe that you will take care of my lil sis and your family
Mom - for being Mom really; she is an awesome, wonderful, amazing person and I am proud to call her my Mother as well as my Friend
Dad - for being such a great Dad as well as friend; you show much love, care, and concern for your family & I am proud to be your daughter
Mom Peevy - for always welcoming me in as if I were her own daugher, you are a great Mother in law
Dad Peevy - for always making me laugh - you are truly a sweet man and a great Father in law
Robyn - for always keeping me updated w/ the latest gossip and being a great Sister in law
Jarod - for keeping Russ on his toes when we are all together & always talking that sports crap with him, hehe, just kidding - I am glad you are my Brother in law and that we have also become friends
Friends - I really am thankfull for all of my friends this year, we have had some ups & downs, but you all know I do appreciate the relationships that we have and can only hope that they continue to get better with each year

This past year there have been some rough times and there have been some good times; I know there will always be rough patches and that to truly appreciate the good times, there have to be some bumps in the road. I hope that this next year is full of more good times than bad, we all remain healthy, and able to do the things we love.

Family

Nothing really exciting going on here ... normal work stuff and had a good weekend visiting with family. I am still stuck with a cough, so no Addison visits for me right now, hopefully this coming weekend I will be better & get to see my little angel niece.
So ready for Thanksgiving on Thursday @ Mom's, goooooood food and ready for a full belly! :) We are all going there Thur and hopefully it will be a good time and there will be enough room for all of us to nap, hehe, you know it's gonna happen! We are not doing Thanksgiving at the Peevys this year - Mom Peevy wanted a break ... hopefully we will still do our normal Christmas there together, gotta love those Christmas PJ's!!!! I know they are Christmas, but you know me, I love jammies & wear em all year round.
Going to see Mama this weekend, since we did not get to a little while back, that should be fun, miss her & Max. Other than that, nothing really else going on this week or weekend ... wish I were off on Friday with Russ, and Wednesday for that matter, but you know - gotta earn them duckets as his new saying goes.
In case I was not back on here this week, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hope that you all appreciate the loved ones in your life and that family is so important; that is what I am most thankful for this year ... so eat too much, laugh a lot, and hug your family & tell them that you love them! :)

RUSSELL PEEVY ...

I just wanted to tell you, Russell Peevy, that I LOVE YOU. I hope you are having a good day off & are getting a nice new haircut and enjoying your movie, BORAT, hehe ... wish I could be doing all of that with you, but no - I have to earn them "duckets", haha!

Here is a picture of my darling little niece, Addison Marie, isn't she just the cutest thing EVER!!!!! She was holding my finger this night & I can just sit & talk to her for a long time, wish I was not sick so I could visit her this week/end, I am having Addison withdrawls, hehe, Erin - give her some Aunt Kelly love, will ya?!?!?

Here is another one, with the "hat", I have another hat that I got on the trip, thanks to a great buddy --- it's black & I wore it on our "dress up" night, but that picture is not on my camera, so I have to wait to get copies of those, darnit!!

Yes, you can see some "boobage", but it's just cause I was leaning on the edge of the bed - it's not cause they were over-flowing or anything like that!! I think some of the other pictures are around a pole, yes, that's right - a pole ... if you know me, you know I could not pass it up when we got to a bar that had a plastic platform, with a pole and colored lights underneath. But, I will say that I was not the only one up there - I got each of the girls I was with up there, well, 1 exception, but we danced for her while she was still sitting in her chair!!!!

I also got a new nickname while we were in Vegas, "peevylicious", like the Fergilicious song that is on the radio - cracks me up - and thanks to Ang, I also have "p-dub", which Ethan called me a few times, too cute!!! Ang & I made up "h/c" which stands for homie chicken. Don't ask where or why it came about, it started at work one day & I called her that to be funny & well, it has stuck around for both of us, stupid, but funny! :)

Gues I fibbed when I said it took too long to post the pics, I do have a lot more, but have to edit some of them before I post them (not for bad reasons, but something I need/have to do). I am sitting here freezing and guess I should turn on the heat, it's cold in this room since we have the vents off, to keep from heating/cooling empty rooms ... geesh, my hands are going numb!!!

Ok, that's it for tonight I think - we have Night Owls tomorrow night (at the Church w/ the kiddos) and I am not feeling it right now, but once I get there, I know we will have a good time. I will for sure be ready to sleep in on Saturday though, no calls before 10am, please?!?!?!? :)

Nothing else really going on this weekend, need to meet up w/ my folks to say HI and give Mom the turkey I got last night (all 23 lbs of it!) and I think Sunday we are going to his folks, to pick out the pictures we want from our "family photos" a few weeks ago. Hopefully those turned out cute, I will post em once I get them, too, don't worry Ang, I will show them to you!!!!!!!

1st picture ... finally!!!

Here is a picture from Vegas (after we had been out all day/night) can you see the tiredness in my eyes, hehe ... i got that hat w/ Ang a few weeks ago for $8 and thought, "i will probably never wear it, but it's only $8, so why not" I wore it and it actually looked cute on all day - Russ loves it!!!! I have more pictures to post, but since this one too so freaking long to upload, I may have to take a whole weekend to upload the rest, haha ...

Other than working lots of extra hours this week, things are pretty good - think I am getting a cold and that is never a fun thing - lots of OJ for me tonight & some Nyquil, too maybe!?!?!?

My beautiful niece is getting better & better by the day (I need to post a pic of her, too) and hopefully she will be home where she belongs by Christmas, that is what we are all hoping for anyways, especially her Mom & Dad. She is just the cutest thing ever (nah, I am not biased or anything) she is a little wiggle worm and a strong little girl, I can't wait til she is home & Erin let's me hold her - you know you have a babysitter here sis!!!!

Guess I will go make some dinner now - it's about 6pm & Russ is working til 8, so I told him I would make spaghetti for him (awww - his favorite) when he gets home (hopefully I will still be awake at 830, we'll see!)

Welcome Home ...

Well, I am back at work today & boy was it hard getting up this morning!!!! :( I have to make up 8 hours (for Monday) the rest of this week, so by the time this weekend comes; I am going to be exhausted, but so well worth all that made me tired!
I have not gotten my pictures situated yet to post, but I promise I will get them and post them as soon as I can. We had a GREAT time in Vegas and about 4 days is a perfect amount of time to be there, I was ready to come home on Monday. Ends up I was the last of the 4 of us to leave yesterday & should have departed at 1254, well, there was a delay with the plane that was coming in for my flight & it did not get there til about 100 and we did not get to board until about 115, then we took off around 145ish ... I was so tired by this point; I mean, what can you do at an airport from 10am to 1pm by yourself?!?!?!?!? I was irritated that I was now not going to get home until after 6pm when I should have landed at 535 pm?!? Oh well, Russ was there to pick me up & it was the cutest thing when he saw me on the other side of the revolving door - he did this little jump/hop/hand thing ... it was too cute & he gave me the best hug & picked me up & swung me around (i had to pee so bad at this point!) and I knew he had missed me so much and I missed him a lot, too, Killian was super excited to see him Mommy, hehe, he was my little shadow last night when I would walk out of the living room, he was running right behind me, and when I say "running", he really was, it was too cute!!!
Guess that is all for now, I promise to post some VEGAS PICS to show everyone what went on and how much fun we had, just as soon as I get them on the computer & saved to load here.

Vegas Baby!!!

Ok, I know I should have started this blog out with things before my trip to Vegas tomorrow and I promise I will catch everyone up on what's been going on the last few weeks ... but I am super excited about my trip tomorrow!!!

I am going with 3 other friends to Vegas and we will be there until Monday afternoon - ALL GIRLS, NO BOYS ALLOWED!!!! I have only a 1/2 day tomorrow and Russ is going to pick me up & take me to the airport, he is so sad ... i will miss you honey!!! We are staying at the Excalibur Hotel and plan on going to Coyote Ugly, Studio 54, The Beach, Gilley's maybe and whatever else sounds good to us, no strict plans, no work, no boys, just a group of girlfriends and lots of fun, fun, fun!!!!

Angie was supposed to go, but since they are trying to sell the house, it was best that she stay and save her $$, thanks Kevo!!!! :) Just kidding, you know i love ya man ... still wish she could have gone with me though. I will make sure to post lots of pics when I get back next week, hopefully they will be g-rated, well, okay, mos of them should be g-rated!!!

I will miss my hubby so much and I know that after the week we have had, it will be good to get away for a little bit just to show how much we love each other - nothing bad, just a rough week; but damn it's gonna suck not sleeping next to him at night, for 3 nights, sniff-sniff :( I promise to be good Russ and if I do anyting crazy, I will do like you have always said, "just take pictures babygirl"~ gotta love him!!!!

Guess that's it for now, will post more when I return, let's wish me lots of money, hehe!!!
